How to restore acer aspire one netbook?!?
Here s my problem one night I was browsing my laptop and this silly secuirty tool" progr m came up, I tryed to close it but must have clicked download. Now there is this rubish program on my computer that stops me from doing anything, and I can not remove the program. Is there any way I can restore my netbook to remove this stupid program? Or just restore it completly.

My windows xp is infected and I want to know how to reset my acer aspire one netbook back to factory default settings, any help would be appreciatednow i can't even load my windows past the welcome screen, so therefore, i cant even get to the control panelApparently, not to many people know about netbooks, forget I even asked this question, know it alls, none of your answers are correctLike I said, i don't need help now, I totally fixed my PC without anyone's help. How to change a acer aspire one netbook to a normal original desktop screen ?
What I am trying to say is I have got an acer aspire one netbook. When you turn it on, it comes out similarly to a iPhone . It has no start menu. No my computer. It basically does not come out any way simularly to a normal desktop. So when it starts, the first display on the page is like an iphone. It says games, then when you click on it. It shows all the games that you can play. Then it has works. And when you click on it, it shows microsoft words and e.t.c. I hope you get the idea of what I'm saying. It has no features of a normal desktop when it starts and goes to the first page. How do I get my netbook to have a start menu, load up very similarly like a normal desktop ?

I disabled my built in microphone for my Acer Aspire One netbook but now want to enable it again.Except, now it says I dont have any microphone installed.It doesnt even show on any lists.But its impossible for it to not be there because it's built in 'How can I fix this.... or Where can I find the installment software?I have windows 7. Ok so I have an Acer Aspire One netbook and I just got it like 3 months ago, I did not un install anything since then. The webcam used to work up until now Im freekin pissed LOL. K'so when i try to open the acer crystal eye webcam, it won't work A window pops up saying" No acer webcam video was detected on your system" But when I go to control panel and check the programs I have installed on the netbook, it still syas that the webcam is installed. So im confused as to why the hell it's saying it can't detect the damn thing on my system. WHAT DO I DOOOOO. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp me Pleasae & thaanks DI'd appreciate it tons...Please LOL PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE
Is my Acer Aspire One netbook good enough for college?
I currently have an Acer Aspire One net book that has 1GB of RAM, CPU N270 1.60GHz. Is this good enough for college? I'll be a senior this coming August in high school, but I want to know if I should save money to get me a new Laptop. I'm trying to convince my parents to help me pay for a MacBook Pro. But they don't think I'll need something that big for college. What do yall think? PS I'm thinking of Majoring in business. Thanks in advance. PS no it does not have a CD drive. Acer Aspire One netbook, had charger with attaching US plug bit. Now need UK attachment, but can't find. Help?
My dad got me the Acer Aspire One netbook, and it's great, but it came with this strange charger. Basically the plug bit is a tiny attachment that clips right onto the Adapter, which is fine because I'm usually in the US. Now, though, I'm in the UK, and I need to either find the little clippy plug thing if it exists, or to get another charger entirely. Obviously, I'd rather just have the little clip than have to deal with two entirely different chargers that will get tangled and lost and confused with other chargers. I've tried to look for this thing myself, but I couldn't find it, and I'm not the best at computer things with funny names anyway. on the little label on the adapter, it says it's an " AC DC ADAPTER," which means nothing to me, and only makes me think of the band. It also says " MODEL bunch of Chinese characters ADP 40th A LPS" and then some stuff about input and output with some more Chinese stuff and some Spanish. There's a big label too, and I'm going to write down anything that I think might be useful, because I really don't know. at the bottom of the label because that's the only orderly bit, it starts off with " C.C. " then a box containing " A." After that it says " REV. " then a box containing " 00." Then there's the bar code, which says " ADT AP0400100294606869P100" There are loads of other codes and symbols, but it's all such a mess that I don't know what to put, and I think it's probably not important anyway. I wish I could figure out how to attach a photo to these things, but I can't. Oh, and on the actual clippy plug attachment thing itself there's only a 0946 on the top of it, and a box saying " US JP TW" which I would guess means the countries that the plug works in. Does anyone know where I can get a British clippy plug attachment thing, or if one even exists? Does anyone actually know what on earth I'm talking about, or is it just a load of mumbo jumbo? Connecting to internet from Acer Aspire One netbook?
I recently just bought this laptop from a friend and the internet worked fine at her house but now when i try to connect to it, it either says i have " limited or no connectivity" or when i try to repair the connect it can't renew my IP address. we originally thought it was that it might still be connected at her house so we took it back there but now the internet won't connect there either.. please help?
