Would Sims 3 work on an acer netbook with a cd drive?
I currently have an acer apsire, and I want to know if Sims 3 could be on it? Its windows xp sp3. don't know anything else about it. Is it best to buy a cd drive, or just buy a new laptop?

Trying to network my acer netbook to my pc. Both have win 7 Ultimate. Homegroup doesn't help. Please Help!!?
Well I bought a netbook and installed win 7 ultimate on that and my pc has win 7 ultimate. I am trying to network the two like me and my gf laptop was to my cpu. For some reason it won't read the netbook on my network and I tried the homegroup thing on both and they both act as their own homegroups and won let me join either one to the other homegroups. Please help I like the fact that I can access all my pc programs and files from a netbook laptop. Please Help

Why does my Acer Netbook keep mysteriously freezing?
I just bought an Acer Netbook.About 3 weeks after I bought it, it started to freeze but I could keep moving the mouse. After I double click then it makes a wierd " Bloop" sound and then the mouse freezes. It does this every single time I try to use the netbook.
Acer Netbook speaker echo?
I have an Acer aoa150 netbook that I have of my grandfathers, the warranty is out, and the greedy people at Acer want to charge me to tell me what is wrong with it, when I already know what is wrong.The speakers are echoing. Also, when I plug in headphones, they too echo.I am not sure what the problem is. It still plays sound correctly, however if I want to play a video or movie, the echoing just drives me insane. I have tried messing around with the volume settings and even considered the possibility that it could be related to the microphone. But I even tried to disable it and it still persists. I am left with the possibility of driver malfunction, or speaker hardware issues.If anyone knows how to fix this or has had the same problem, or have any possible solutions, or advice, please let me know. I will 10 pts the best answer that helps.
Need help with Acer netbook?
My Acer netbook will detect multiple wireless broadband networks but not my own. When I refresh the network list it can 'see' 5 different networks, all belonging to houses nearby. However my router which is a few feet away remains undetected. My other PC can detect and log on using my router with no trouble at all, so I know the router isn't to blame.ANy ideas?Thanks
Acer netbook upgrade?
i have the acer aspire one D250 1197 i am wondering what proccesors do i have to choose from when upgrading it curently has the intel atom 1.6 i want a 2.0 GHz or higherit is the intel atom n270 and i am almost positive it is removable and not soldered on
