Question: Asus netbook screen?????????

Ive decided that im going to get a asus 8.9 inch 160 gb netbook and ive noticed at the ones ive seen in stores when you scroll around it seems like everything is the same size as a regular laptop but you just have to scroll down to get the bottom half is there a way to get rid of this.
