I'm looking to purchase a solid gaming laptop so I can play on the go for the next few years. I have an ideal budget of about $1000 but I can go higher up to $2000 if the laptop is so out of this world spec and durability wise that it'll last for years to come. I'll be using it mainly for World of Warcraft when the Cataclysm expansion comes out, as well as other games like BioShock 2, watching movies, listening to music, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks.

How can I prevent insects from going inside my laptop?
I recently sent my laptop in for repair, since, while everything was working fine, i heard a noise in the fan. So they were ging to replace the fan, but when they opened it, they saw insects inside, and now wont work on it and voided the warranty. If I can get the insects out, and the laptop works, what would be a way to keep them from going back in? I wll get a keyboard cover, but what about the fan and vents? Please dont say get rid of the insects in the house, i put the bug trap things in me and my boyfrends room, but we live in a house with a bunch of people, so we cant do anything about there rooms and therefore i dont know if the insects will completely disapear. i just need to protect my laptop until we can afford to move into our own place. Please can you give me any suggestions to keep them out of the laptop?

Question about my laptop and it's charger?
ok well my charger wouldnt charge today and we finally got it to charge but the charger started running hot. and when i pulled out the charger i touched the metal piece that pulled into the laptop and it burnt the crap out of me and i dropped it on the carpet and their was a lot of smoke and smelt like a mechanical fire. so my question is. do you think that my charger did any damage to the laptop. I mean im using it now and seems fine. I put my charger in the sink until the metal cools enough to throw it in the trash
