Question: Uploading pictures from my camera onto my laptop?

Okay, so I recently bought a laptop and want to upload my pictures from my digital camera onto it. My laptop doesn't have anywhere to put cd's (disks or whatever) and so I can't install kodak easyshare. Is it still possible to put my pictures on my laptop? Thanks =)
