Question: Laptop with linksys router help?

Okay, two years ago i bought a Linksys router for my laptop, and it worked fine. However, I have recently moved and now have a new internet provider. I no longer have my desktop computer and when i try to set up the router, my computer recognizes it, but the wireless will not work. Please help because I hate having to have my laptop in one spot.

I had the same problem and had to coordinate the solution with the service provider. They deal with it all the time.
