Question: Questions about a laptop mini/netbook?

I recently got a compaq mini for christmas, what is something i can do to get more space on the hard drives? Would purchasing a USB flashdrive help? or a removable hard drive? but i really don't get how purchasing these things would make working on my laptop sufficient... So any help or advice would be appreciated :)

USB flashdrives are very compact which mean you can carry your data anywhere you go. A Portable hard drive is used just to store data but bigger than the USB. Usb will load faster than the removable hard drive but at the cost of the price and storage amount meaning that 128GB Usb will cost more than a 500GB removable. Places that you can purchase these items will be on sites like Newegg.com or Amazon.com. These thing are only as useful if you are going to use them meaning if you hard drive is big enough to hold all your stuff then i dont recommend getting thing. If you run out of space to put stuff you can back it up all into the external device. Thank You
