Does att computer air work well in netbook?

What is the fundamental difference between a laptop and a netbook?
From what I understand the only difference is the amount of memory you get with a standard netbook is much less than that of a laptop. If that's the case couldn't you just add more memory to the netbook by replacing your hard drive or adding more RAM? I also understand that a netbook is inferior to a laptop when it comes to watching videos or gaming. I mainly use my computer to browse the web, check email and write. Do netbooks come with office software? I apologize ahead of time I'm not that computer savy. Thanks.I forgot to ask about the processor, thanks for covering that aspect as well. I really don't need something ultra powerful like a gaming computer but at the same time I don't want the computer to crash because I tryed to watch a video on youtube, lol. I don't add much software to any of my computers I just need an office program and my security program. My security program is probably my largest download on my computer.
Will a 7200rpm hdd work on a netbook with a 5400 rpm hdd?
ive got a toshiba sata hdd thats 250gb and runs 7200rpm and i wanna know if i can throw it on my acer aspire one netbook. it has windows7 starter and a 5400rpm 160gb hdd. will evferything be alright with it?if i can switch out the hdd, i wanna make a backup of 7 starter. i dont have a dvd drive, so is there anyway to make a back up into like an iso image or use norton ghost? in other words, whats the best way to back up the hdd on the netbook to the new hdd without using a dvd drive
Does anyone know how comparable a Samsung N210 netbook is to a Sony netbook?
I am going to Bestbuy today to purchase a computer, and its down to either a Samsung N210 or a Sony Netbook. Quality is very important to me, and there prices aren't too much different. I wont be using it for business or anything, just for fun and for my college classes. It will be used to do homework, and internet mostly. Does anyone own one, or knows about either one of these? I would like to know pros cons. I heard that the Samsung heats up a lot, but on the other hand the Sony doesn't have the best battery life. I'm pretty sure they both have about the same storage space. Any and all advise would help me in my decision, thank you

My dell netbook windows xp needs to be re-booted but i havent got a cr rom , what can i do?

I don't want to buy a password reset disk or whatever. I've tried hard to recall my password, and I've typed a tonne of incorrect passwords. ' Is there any way to sort things out in a simple manner?I've tried the F8 > Safe Mode thing, but it still prompts me for my password Yes, I have the hint... But I still can't recall my password. I made my password such that it doesn't really match the hint...

Okay, here's the deal I need a netbook.I'm going to Europe in about a month and I need a netbook 'cuz my laptop is too big to take. I'm homeschooled and I need it for watching my lessons they're on DVDs. It'd be nice if it had a pre installed DVD drive, but I can buy an external one.I'm hoping it'll, at least, last a few years.The battery life is the most important thing, a minimum of 5 6 hours. I don't know how much I'll have access to a power supply during the first week. I want it to be 10in., fast, have ability to connect to wifi, and preferably, with Windows 7. And, it MUST be in Best Buy's selection. I don't really like buying electronic things online, and I trust Best Buy. All together, with the DVD drive included, I don't want it to go over $400. If it can be hackintoshed, that's cool too. Just an FYI, I'm thinking about getting the Asus Eee 1005HAB.Thanks.
