Question: Inexpensive netbook for word processing only?

I would like to get a netbook (or something like that) that I can take with me everywhere to quickly jot down notes when I need to. It would need to have the following features: - very small and light - long battery life - doesn't take long to boot up - an actual keyboard (to type the normal way, not with thumbs) - inexpensive - I would NOT use this for internet or games or anything - doesn't need to be powerful; just don't freeze up when I'm typing text - doesn't need a huge HD I read an article somewhere (I can't find it now) where someone said he uses his old HP Jornada 720 for this purpose. It turns on automatically when he opens the lid, and it's very robust, doesn't run out of batteries quickly, and he only needs it for notes. So it serves that purpose well. I may just go ahead and find a used one of these on ebay, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Found the article about the Jornada. I would recommend a Lenovo s10 which cost only 250 with free shipping. They meet all of your requirements, except they don't have the best battery life. Mine comes in at about 3-4 hours depending on what you are doing. However, at 250, you can buy a 9 cell battery which should give at least 10 hours of charge for under 50 bucks on eBay, so you could still come in cheaper than any long battery life netbook, plus you would have both the 3 cell, and the 9 cell battery. cgi.ebay.com/ New-9-Cell-Battery-For-Lenovo-Ideapad-S9-S10-S10e-Black_W0QQitemZ180468362532QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLaptop_Batteries?hash= item2a04c0ad24 This netbook, however, turns on really fast, and has all of the specifications you will need to run basic programs such as word. The keyboard is large enough to touch type on comfortably. And it weighs in at about 2 pounds or so, and is really a great size. Even with having to buy a different battery, I would recommend you get this since the laptop with the extra battery would still cost under 300 dollars. I wouldn't recommend the Jornada 720. It has 32 mb of ram which isn't enough to run most word processing programs, and it has an extremely short screen making it almost impossible to write a document on it comfortably. Also, it's keyboard is not meant for extended periods of typing. Plus it comes in at around the same price as the netbook I talked about above.
