Dell makes quality netbooks that are less expensive than HPs. Amazon has them, too. Asus makes a less expensive one that people like. The keypad on a netbook will be smaller than a laptop and the processor will probably be an Intel Atom.

Ahh I was searching around for the same thing, I bought one at a pretty good price, hp and dell .com have good prices I got it from hp because my mom get's an employee discount, and that might be the way you want to go because you get more but dells are very inexpensive
